Christmas Day
Take it easy this Christmas Day and let us do all the hard work for you. Our three-course menu has the classics along with a selection of seasonal dishes. Roast Turkey with all the trimmings. Traditional Christmas Pudding. All expertly crafted in house. Make it a Christmas Day to remember at The Beech House.

Boxing Day

Every year our teams look to spread the joy that bit further. Collecting gifts and donations from our guests to pass on to local charities and great causes.

Oakman Festive Period is classed as Tuesday 19th November until Tuesday 31st December. Any bookings of 10 or more guests require a £10 per person deposit and a pre-order 7 days prior to the booking.

We will serve our Festive A La Carte Menu throughout December including Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
Our Festive Menu is available from Tuesday 19th November 2024 to Monday 23rd December 2024 and runs alongside the A La Carte Menu.
On Christmas Day we only serve our Christmas Day Lunch set menu. For Children joining us on Christmas Day they can either choose half portion of adults Christmas Day Set Menu dishes excluding Lobster Thermidor, Christmas Pudding and Tiramisu or the standard festive kids menu. The price for children on Christmas Day is £50 per child regardless of which menu they opt for.

For bookings of 10 or more guests, a pre-order will be required and must be sent back no later than 7 days prior to the booking date. Please note we cannot guarantee to accommodate your pre-order requirements if this deadline is not adhered to. Please inform us of any allergens at the point of pre-ordering and also on arrival.

During the festive period, we require a deposit of £10 per person to secure the booking. All deposits will be redeemed against the final cost of your bill.
For Christmas Day bookings, a deposit of £50 per person is required to secure your booking. This deposit is per person, inclusive of children and highchairs. The remainder of the balance is due on the day.

The Festive Menu is available from Tuesday 19th November 2024 to Monday 23rd December 2024

No bookings can mix menus. For example, a booking of 10 guests, 7 guests can pre-order from our A La Carte and 3 guests can pre-order from festive menu.
For those guests choosing to dine from the Festive Menu, this is a set menu and we are unable to do changes or swap items out.

With the exception of The Beech House in Watford, all Oakman venues will be open for Christmas Day lunch bookings.

A £50 deposit payment is required per person, to secure your booking for Christmas Day. The remaining balance of the menu cost will be due on the 25th December. This deposit is per person, inclusive of children and high chairs.
Please note no booking is confirmed until the deposit has been received. Christmas Day enquiries are held for 72 hours. If a deposit is not received within this time frame your enquiry is released and the table becomes available again.

For children occupying a high chair on Christmas Day but not dining from the Children's menu there is a charge of £20 per high chair.
Although guests that occupy highchairs may not eat, they do still need a seat at the table! As we have limited availability on Christmas Day there is a charge for this seat to be occupied.
Whilst we have highchairs, we have a limited amount and therefore include them in the deposit to secure the booking and charge for the use of the highchair on the day. In the event that more highchairs are needed for the day than we have readily available, we still want to accommodate! Therefore we will source a high chair that aligns with our safety standards, that can be used for the day so that the whole family can be together.
Throughout the year our highchairs are first come first serve and there is no charge for them, but there is also no guarantee that we can accommodate them on a walk in basis and is why each Christmas Day we do put this rule in place, and have done for many years.

For guests dining from the Festive A La Carte, you can cancel your booking up to 24 hours prior to arrival and received a refund of a deposit.
For guests dining on the Festive Menu, the cancellation period is 48 hours prior to your booking.
The deposit for Christmas Day bookings is non-refundable.

Dogs are more than welcome in the bar area but not in our restaurant. If you would like to bring along your dog to your Festive booking or Christmas Day booking, please just call and speak to the team, one of them will happily be able to check availability and if possible, ensure your table is allocated to a dog friendly area.
